What is a Menstrual period? Menstrual cramps are light or severe pain experienced by women before or during the menstrual period in the lower abdomen or pelvic areas. These cramps may sometime collapse your daily routine few days every month. This is somewhat similar to the pain which is experienced by pregnant women in labor with prostaglandin medication.
