Causes for Cracked Heels:

Dry skin around the heel is he main cause for cracked heels.
Prolonged standing on the Hard floors  may also be treated as one of the cause for cracked heels.
Deficiency of Vitamin and minerals also leads to cracked heels.
Unhealthy and Un hygienic circumstances and conditions may also leads to cracked heels.
Tight fitting shoes or fully covered sandals, and wet socks may also leads to crack the heels.
Age is also one of the cause for cracking heels due to loosening skin folds.
Over weight can also leads to cracked heels.
Home Remedies for cracked heels:

Apply Sesame oil on your feet and leave it for overnight and then wash it off in the morning.
Apply Glycerin and rose water mixture equally to the feet. It smoothens your feet and helps to cure the cracks.
Mix Papaya with lemon juice and apply the mixture to your feet. It also helps you to smoothen your feet and avoids cracks.
Applying melted ghee or butter to the affected area also gives relief.
