Causes of infertility
Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive or become pregnant with in one full year of active trails or after two or three miscarriages. Out of 90 million couples who are trying to conceive, 17% of the couple is experiencing infertility problem. This problem creates great destruction in marital life. Many people don’t realize that women and men are equally likely to be the source of infertility issues. This may be very frustrating situation for the couple.
Causes of infertility
The most common causes for infertility in women are as follows
Hormonal disorder PCOS ( Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome )
Endometriosis, a state in a which a tissue covering the walls of the uterus
Excessive presence of androgen hormones
Age – the older the woman get the higher chances of becoming less fertile
Stenosis
Lack of cervical mucous
Some sexually transmitted diseases may also leads to the problem of infertility
Causes of infertility in males:-
Reduced sperm count (Oligospermia)
When the passage of the sperm gets blocked due to ejaculation problems
Any damage to the testicles may leads to infertility
Hormonal or genetic problem like cystic fibrosis
Excessive Use of anti – depressants of hyper tension drugs
Common causes of infertility for both males and females are:-
1. Obesity
2. Smoking and alcohol consumption
3. Certain medical conditions like diabetes, thyroid can trigger to infertility
Home Remedies for infertility problem:-
Take some tender roots of banyan tree and dry them in the shade and finely powder it. Mix about 20 grams of powder in a glass of milk and drink for 3 subsequent nights. In case of females after menstruation. It acts as an effective remedy to improve fertility
An infusion of the fresh tender leaves of black berry fruit is an excellent remedy
Warm water enema in the case of females is an effective remedy for fertility
Grape seed extract is an effective remedy. Grape seed extract is an antioxidant and can help to protect sperm in males
The herb winter cherry is another valuable remedy. The herb should be powdered and 6 grams of this powder should be taken with one cup of milk for 5-6 nights and in case of females after menstruation
Certain nutrients like Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Zinc have been found helpful in some cases of infertility
Seeds, nuts, curd should be a part of your daily diet
Egg plant is considered as a very effective remedy for infertility. Tenderly cook the egg plants and then eat with buttermilk daily at least for a month.
Jamun fruit leaves are taken with honey regularly to improve infertility
Eat plenty of calcium rich foods such as milk, cheese and yogurt to improve fertility
Certain yogasanas which are said to be tone up the gonads should also be practiced regularly to overcome infertility by both males and females.
